Hi, we’re Tim & Hannah and we’re first generation farmers here at The Food Farm.

From our network of leased farms here on the beautiful NSW Central Coast just one hour north of Sydney, we use regenerative methods to produce 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and pasture-raised organic chicken and eggs.

Because we’re passionate about reconnecting people with the source of their food, we hand deliver our meat boxes directly from our farm to your front door, so it’s as fresh and as local as can be. You’ll also find us at Carriageworks farmers market every Saturday and Gosford City Farmers market fortnightly on Sundays.

We also operate on a fully transparent ‘food chain’ and believe people should directly connected with their farmer with no middle man, meaning you know all there is to know about where your locally farmed food has come from and what does (and doesn’t) go into it.

Good food is worth the work, and the wait.

To produce food that not only tastes better but is better for us, we have to work with nature rather than against her. And to work with nature means that we must slow down, giving the required time to finding synergy with the environment and taking care in all that we do.

When we place ‘care’ at the centre of our farming practices – care for the animal, the land, the soil and the future – then we are going beyond farming sustainably to actually regenerating the land. As a result we’re producing food that nourishes us the way nature intended, packed full of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals.

To commit to this fully and to do this well takes time and energy, but we assure you it’s worth the work, and the wait.

OUR PROCESS

Our farming practises are holistic, slow and conscious.

We assess the entire ecosystem and move our animals to fresh pasture regularly to ensure our animals are happy and calm, and our soil is fertile and healthy.

Transparent

We offer full transparency across our ‘food chain’ so you know where your food comes from and what has and hasn’t gone into it

Sustainable

Using regenerative farming practices, we leave every paddock in a healthier state than when we stepped foot (or hoof) on it

Humane

Our animals are given the love and respect that they deserve throughout their entire lives, free to roam on lush green, biodiverse pasture 24/7

OUR STORY

We began our regenerative farming journey in 2016 after we came to the realisation that we had become so disconnected from the source of our food that we couldn’t tell you where it came from or what had gone into it.

The more we learned, the more we knew we had to be part of the solution. As we dove further into this and acquired more knowledge, we were certain  that regenerative farming was our future. Learn more >
