Weekly delivery

Order by Tuesday at 4:00pm for same-week delivery to the areas below.

Friday: Sydney, Newcastle and ACT.
Saturday: Melbourne and South Australia.

Delivery days in other areas vary. Check coverage above and contact us if you need to confirm the day for your address. We deliver only on selected days, not every day offered by the courier network.

Delivery cost

$30 delivery to eligible areas outside WA and Tasmania.
Free delivery on orders $300 or more to those eligible areas.
$40 delivery to WA and Tasmania. Free delivery does not apply.

What happens on delivery day

Check your confirmation. Make sure your address, mobile number and order details are correct. Reply promptly with access instructions or a business name.
Watch for courier updates. Your confirmation explains the tracking service. The courier normally sends a text the night before with tracking and an estimated arrival time.
Be ready to receive your box. Deliveries are generally between 8am and 6pm; a specific time cannot be requested. A delivery text and photo show where your box was left.

A few practical details

How is the meat packed?

Our on-farm butcher cuts, portions, vacuum seals and labels your meat before it is packed into an insulated box and transported by a cool courier.

Orders to SA, Tasmania and WA are sent frozen. We aim to send fresh meat to other areas; some items may be supplied frozen.

Apartments, gates, dogs and business addresses

Tell us any access instructions as soon as possible, before the delivery is booked with the courier. Instructions are followed where possible.

Apartments: the box may be left in the lobby. If the driver cannot enter, it may be left near the main entrance or buzzers.
Houses: delivery is to the front door or porch. If a locked gate prevents access, the box may be left outside the gate.
Businesses: include the business name and tell us it is a business address, so delivery can be planned appropriately. Be available within the 8am–6pm delivery window.
Dogs: keep them safely inside on delivery day. Drivers may not enter if dogs can access the front of the property, and cannot take responsibility for securing gates.

Drivers do not call on approach or knock; the text service provides delivery notification. They cannot deliver to the rear of your property, enter your garage or unpack your box into an esky.

Can I request a date or change a delivery?

Reply to your order confirmation promptly if you have a preferred delivery date. This is a request, not a guaranteed booking. Christmas preorders follow the separate Christmas timing above.

Orders cannot be redirected or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery. If your plans change at the last minute, arrange for a friend or neighbour to collect the box.

We do not have direct access to courier drivers and cannot call them with last-minute instructions.

Tracking, missing updates or an unattended box

Check your junk folder for your order confirmation and ensure your mobile number is correct. Courier tracking provides an approximate arrival time, not a guaranteed appointment.

Check the delivery photo if your box is not where you expected. The Food Farm is not responsible for stolen deliveries or boxes left unattended for an extended period.

Can I collect my order instead?

Contact the farm before ordering to confirm whether collection is available and arrange the details. Do not assume a delivery order is booked for collection.
